Asahigaoka may seem like a normal and boring town, but it's never boring thanks to the 5 students who attend its only school. The youngest student is a first-grader named Renge Miyauchi, who has a childish personality and is very curious, and her catchphrase is "Nyanpasu!". Then there's the Koshigaya family, consisting of Suguru in 9th grade, Komari in 8th grade, and Natsumi in 7th grade. There's also a 5th-grade student named Hotaru Ichijou, who has just moved from Tokyo and seems very mature.
